Program Description

As part of the Career Development Department, Financial Literacy Training aims to educate individuals and families in important financial skills for life, such as money management, budgeting, credit, banking, and more.  Lincoln Action program uses MoneySmart, a curriculum developed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC),  and administered all over the world in multiple languages.

In addition, Financial Literacy Training is a prerequisite for participation in Free to Save, a program in which participants save for a specific asset and are given a matched contribution toward their savins from Lincoln Action Program.

Classes are held regularly.  Please contact Travis Pillen for information, or stop by Lincoln Action Program to fill out an application.
