Program Description
The primary goal of the Homeless Voucher Program is to assist individuals and families in their pursuit of the life skills needed to maintain permanent housing and prevent a return to homelessness. The Homeless Voucher Program provides a case manager to assist with goal planning. Lincoln Housing Authority provides rent subsidies according to the participant's ability to pay. The most important element of the Homeless Voucher Program is the intensive case management services. With help from a case manager, each participant develops and signs a contract. This contract outlines the goal areas the family will work on while in the program. Their continued participation in the program is dependent on the follow through of these goal areas.
